Overview

This educational webinar reviews the evolving role of immune checkpoint inhibitors in basal cell carcinoma and cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, with an emphasis on practical treatment selection, emerging therapeutic strategies, and management of immune-related adverse events.

Learning objectives

  • Educate patients with BCC and CSCC about the risks and benefits of immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy.
  • Integrate immune checkpoint inhibitors into treatment plans for appropriate patients with BCC and CSCC, considering clinical data, expert recommendations, patient goals, and patient perspectives.
  • Evaluate the potential clinical impact of novel intralesional and perioperative immune checkpoint inhibitor therapies under investigation for patients with BCC and CSCC.
  • Manage immune-related adverse events promptly in patients with BCC and CSCC who are receiving immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy.
